It's Wet
 

The water was running,
until the heater -
that heats the water turned on.

 The tank is so thankless,
unless we are tankless,
and then we curse it till dawn.

 A shower an hour,
is needed to scour,
the dirt from a large family.

 But take ye no bath,
or incur my wrath.
Hot water does not grow on trees.

 The towels are all soggy,
from washing my doggy,
if only they'd left me a rag.

 But I fend for myself,
with no towels on the shelf,
I dig thru the dirty clothes bag.

 The Holy Grail would be for me,
finding a towel not wet and moldy.
